To Revel in Life

Can you, O Lord,
dim the sun a bit
and brighten
the moon some?

Can you mix wine
in the seas a bit
and add to the wind
fragrance some?

Can you color
the clouds a bit
and add music
to the rainfall some?

Can you sling a swing
over the rainbow a bit
and toss confetti
with the snowfall some?

Then, I shall celebrate
my life a bit,
and greet death
with smiles some.
