To Rekindle the Flame
A mere glimpse of her
his heart beat faster
Nearly called her name
-- No, that'd be lame
Trailed her for a while
emotions swirling
Recalled how she'd moved
He'd been mad with desire
All these years later
he had a conceit
to rekindle the flame
Sure it'd be the same
Lengthening his stride
he pulled alongside her
Turning to face him
she was no longer slim
