To Read

Do you know why I'm here...?

I'm here to read your Words,
the song you exchange with the Birds.
Typed sounds of who you are,
where you've been, from which
bright star, which Gods you've played,
the mood of your days and I wonder...
Do you hear me Read from afar?

I've loved with you and I love you too,
Your Words are part of Me. You write
your life, your soul, your flight....
And I've been Reading, your Poetry.

A sea. Your Wind on my face,
your images in the breeze,
and even your scent,
sometimes I can see.

I've loved with you and I love you too,
I've read your dreams of Tomorrow.
I've held you close and kissed your face,
When I've cried and read your sorrow.

I see. Your face in the wind.
I come here to Read You...
Time and Again.
Because I fall into Love, with you my Friend.

Don't know how I missed this earlier, Izzy, but I'm so glad I found it! We can certainly learn a lot about people from their poetry and this is a more structured style than some of your other poems. You can change gears and still deliver! (There is nothing I find more attractive about a man than his mind and his ability to express feelings with words.) I'm joining Ruben and putting this into my faves. LOVE reading your creative work!

What a beautiful poem to share with us, Izzy. I think that sometimes, we come here and read, and cry, and praise, and share, and love, without ever consciously thinking about the energy gathered from around the world to this one place where love and hope and help, and caring thrives. We are blessed. And thank you Izzy, for bringing the reality of how we interrelate with one another to our thoughts today. I love the words "...your face in the wind." >>imaginary glimpses. Keep writing. Dane

Standing at the bow of her majesty's ship I could see the ocean as it kissed the horizon. This I thought is the expanse of feeling for all humankind, then I looked at the universe and felt defeated, because it had so much more to offer. Reaching for the stars, has it's rewards. But realizing what you hold dear to you here, is far greater.-AA

Smile~I love this write of yours here Izzy! So well penned and written within soulfuls passions I believe....And yes, it can be so easy to get caught up within anothers words-especially, when those words come from the treasures depths of their very own souls!!!? Excellent write!! Warmth and Blessings To You and Your Loves, John!:) Bye ~
