To Reach You

The voice within me speaks
My pen and paper I reach 
To talk to you and leach 
Out of the depths of my mind 
Where you may find a relative 
Interest 
Of a subject matter 
I hope I don’t scatter the words 
To much 
And trust you will find pleasure
In all my work, I treasure
For my aim is to make someone 
Smile 
Even if a little while
Maybe bring a tear or two 
Anything to get to you 
And share a verb or two
Telling stories 
With different categories  
To tease your brain
And Ease your 
Pain
And inspire you 
To review 
The voice within me speaks 
May my pen and paper reach
You!
