To Reach That Horizon
Many times I stood idle and silent
on this same shore at dawn,
staring out at the unreacheable horizon
torn by a disheartned feeling;
and in spite of discouragement
its distance became more real!
When nights were blurry
and the appearance of stars
was so impossibly remote...
to make me aimlessly grope:
the growth of doubt relied on instincts,
to let darkness uncover that mystery!
To reach that horizon,
possibility needs to be reconsidered
to let this undecided spirit venture and
take me from this dark shore
to the blueness of another sky;
to reach that horizon...
courage must surpass fear,
and my perception must be clear...
foreseeing the events that will follow
without interfering or asking why!
Many nights I sat on the edge
of the foaming rocks,
trying to get a step closer
to those intangible stars...
always intercepting my message
and making wait me like before!
To reach that horizon,
I should stimulate the interest
of all the introvert stars;
to interrelate and be heard!
To reach that horizon...
I should demand their confidence,
not be hesitant or fightened
into telling me the stark truth!
