To Post Or Not To Post

To post, or not to post That is the question Does it dance? Does it flow? If so -- and not until -- then post it Does it sing? Resonate and ring? If so -- and not until -- then post it Is it spare? Does it show? If so -- and not until -- then post it Is it from the heart? Does it touch the soul? If so -- and not until -- then post it Does it make you cry? Grin? Grimace? Purr? Exult?! Or laugh out loud? If so -- and not until -- then post it Are you satisfied? Is it your level best? If so -- and not until -- then post it

Hmmm. Interesting. Hadn't thought of this as a checklist. Might be a great idea to ask myself these questions before posting...Then again, I might not ever post anything again! LOL. Thank you for the comment, Line! :) gw

So very true, my friend. I love this poem, Gershon. I am always re-editing after posting.. I don't think, I ever think, that they 'perfect' and beyond a good re-edit.. :)) C'est la vie! Warmest wishes for a happy new year, my wonderful friend.. ~Susan

Only YOU think that your writes are not perfect. I, for one, certainly think that they are...Reminiscent, a bit, of a scene in "Our Town," where Emily tells George (Scene 2, I believe) that she thinks that all men are and should be perfect (and that it's women who are weak...) Best wishes, Gershon

Gershon, you are right... but I often don’t realize all that’s lacking until I’ve posted. :(

You know, YOU are right: You and I and many others post it before "it's ready." Even Susan Ashley does. And if she does, it's human nature, I guess. O.K. Thank you so much for your insights on this poem and so many of my writes lately! Best wishes, Gershon
