Your eyes were green But one was blind You were deaf in one ear But I didn't mind I loved you so much And saw you each day It left a hole in my life When yours was taken away It was from Alzheimer's That you died If I'd been allowed to see you I could have said "Goodbye" But they said you were thin And they said you were pale They said you wouldn't remember me Because your memory was stale I know that from Heaven You will always shine And memories of the time we shared Will always be mine
