I know you have suffered from YOUR work being plagerised Paul - it is so sad when someone else steals the work of another and claims it as their own:-) Sadly I have seen the ill effects of this with a student and his exam was null and void :-( Hugs jan xxx

Absolutely right, dear Jan! Once, a church goer approached his minister and told him how much he had enjoyed his sermon But he added " I have seen all you have said, word-for-word in a book! The embarrassed minister asked in surprise: " which one?" The vocabulary, our man replied! I know you do not mean that! Bravo!

would that this were true! i do think that some people still get away with this and have no problem at all with their thievery (is that a word?). i like your poem, though - you've said a lot in just a few words.

I have an issue if people blatantly post work as their own when it has been written by someone else but they take the credit for it - I know it happens in the music Industry and royalties have to be paid to the original writer:-) In fact my hubby only gave me an example of it yesterday! Only wish that my poems were good enough for somebody to steal. lol Seriously, it is not a laughing matter to steal another author's poetry and falsely claim as ones own! Surely any culprit here doing that would be kicked off this great poetry site, right????? --Tyr
