To Pee Or Not To Pee

To pee, or not to pee, that is the question
When I wake in the middle of the night
I try my best to hold it in
But my bladder is just too tight

I shouldn't have drank that coffee
Right before going to bed
I toss and turn each time I do
And I have to go visit the head

I stump my toe, in the darkness
I trip, and sometimes I fall
A one legged dance, on my way to the john
While holding on tight to the wall

While fumbling for the light switch
I accidentally step on the cat
It grabs my leg with is razor sharp claws
And my wife starts screaming, "What's that?"

With a broken toe, and a cat on my leg
I reach my bathroom at last
Only to find when I get there
That my urge to pee has passed

Can relate to most of it except I don't own a cat and with me the urge never passes. In fact I'm lucky if I get to the can on time.

AHHAAHHA.... I had a friend whose father got so drunk that in the middle of the night, sleep walking intoxicated. He walks to the corner of the room where he pees all over the dresser, the floor and his clothes hamper... I heard that and hit the floor... Good write my friend....:JP}
