To Patience In Awaiting

Let love not be a flower that blooms amid the lonely night, Eyes that hath much beauty see beyond the shadow'd sight. After all time is not and night is day And we are one, yet the starry veil still hides the way. For silence fills the open spaces That ticks the clock eons of time, Seasons like a million faces Fill the night sky each a tune, a lament in birdsong.
