To Our Departed Pet Friends
Our lives are touched
In gentle ways by those
With voices void of words.
They linger in our hearts and
Thoughts, and we know we
Were loved unconditionally
Until the very end...
Our pets are in the sunset and sunrise
Of our lives.
They are our treasured friends,
Devoted companions and missed
More than poetic verse can say.
They remain in the circle of our love.
