To My Son on Christmas


To My Son So Far Away
I'm Sending You this Note
Have a Merry Christmas
It Is My Fondest Hope

It Is Not the First Time
That We Have Been Apart
But I Have to Let You Know
You're Always in My Heart

There Will Be Lots of People Here
With Catching up to Do
About the Year They've Spent
But I'll Be Missing You

You Know I Haven't Got Much
To Give You on this Day
Except of Course My Love
And My Wish.. You Weren't Away

So since I Cannot Change Things
I'm Sending You My Love
And to You and Yours I Hope
There Is Blessings from above
