To My Mother In Heaven

To My Mother in Heaven

They say that “love is patient,”
And a mother’s “love is kind,”
I learned through your actions,
That love, is always right on time!

You taught me to never “envy”,
Never to brag or to “boast”,
You’d be proud to know the lessons learned,
Helped me throughout my growth!

There are things I’ll always remember,
And some things I might forget,
But rest a sure, my Mother my Friend,
I’m so thankful for the time we spent!!!

I don't think we ever get so old that we simply don't need our mothers. Sorry for your loss, and this was a beautiful way to honor her memory. Thank you for sharing this one. =) -G
