To My Mother

I may be leaving you in the fall
I hated all the trips you made me take to the mall
I'll now be living in a different state
I just wanted to tell you that you are really great
You were always there
Even when I hated my hair
I know I complained about most of your meals
But you still gave me my first pair of wheels
I'll now have to learn to wash my own clothes
You've always loved us from our heads to our toes
Even though I won't be here
It will be one tough year
In this poem all I wanted to say
Is Happy Mother's Day!
