To My Heroes

Today the world is celebrating, flowers everywhere,
But my thoughts are looking upward, sending you a prayer.
A Mother's Day in heaven, beyond the clouds of blue,
My heart is overflowing with the love I hold for you.

Mom, I miss your gentle voice, the way you understood,
You taught me how to walk this world and find the hidden good.
And Grandma, you're our quiet strength, the roots of family trees,
Your memory is a warm embrace that carries on the breeze.
