To My Dearest Friend
I haven't been honest,
I feel peaked
Ravaged
And likely to rupture
With anger and loathe
You render my mind
Why do you
Listen
Embrace
And help me through
My struggles
My pain
Darkest time
Brings me to you,
Your sympathy settles
Soothing my mind
Your thoughts calming
my soul
Pacing my heart
Ensuring a flow
I feel your warmth
Your love
And your creation
A sanctuary of peace
my salvation
I can't get you out of my mind
I drink to you
To your existence
To your resistance
To my insanity
And a fantasy
Where ill always have you
