To My Dad

Shining face, great smile, big heart
All lost when death made us apart
Missing you in every second of the day
Wish my hands could hold you again,

From the moment I opened my eyes
You enriched my heart with your love
Turning all my despair to faith
Ease things for me then took the blame,

Life is so hard because you are not around
Obstacles following me all of the time
Grief, and sorrow keep standing in my way
Needing strength to greet each day,

Death walks and we walk behind
Releases us from all the shackles of life
Truth can't be changed or pass away
Gone is my dad leaving behind his lost pain.
