To My Biggest Reading Fan
A wonderful man who took the time
to get to know my work and encourage me.
He saw something in my words,
saw something I just didn't see.
His kind words, and offers to help,
warm my heart to the core.
He makes me feel like I
can do so much more.
A heart, icy from betrayal has
found a new source to make it warm.
He has given me new inspiration
that makes my words transform.
Once a stranger, now a friend,
dear to my tattered and torn heart.
His kindness has helped me
tremendously for the healing to start.
He keeps a smile on my soul,
that I hope never goes away.
I hope this is a friendship that
he'll forever want to stay.
