To My Beauty, Constanza

In deep hills green we lay my dear, I dream of rain, of snow falling; of lakes- the sky and wind calling. Our time so sweet, so fine each year, my sweet beauty never be gone; just love me, let no darkness yawn. With you, I knew such joy- oh tear! Shadows beneath the soil, whispers, of magic- each dance, all chapters. We had this love's embrace- oh fear! Heartbreak in my spirit and soul, broken, our dreams to death's keyhole. Will death just take- will God just hear? Oh please let our love soar endless, in peace let our love be ceaseless. In deep hills green we lay my dear, Our time so sweet, so fine each year. With you I knew such joy - oh tear! We had this love's embrace- oh fear! Will death just take- will God just hear? ______________________ November 19, 2017 Poetry/Constanza/To My Beauty, Constanza Copyright Protected, ID 17-9635-36-0 All Rights Reserved. Constance, I could feel the powerful bitter sweet emotions grip my heart in this lovely Constanza! It is so important to have the last Monorhyme stanza leave an impact and you have managed to create it beautifully! This is going into my Faves! I hope to see this on the winner's list. Cheers, Connie : )

Broken Wings, your poem is beautiful. I could fairly see the setting you described, in such picturesque language too. It is full of symbolism too, and captured my imagination at once.

This is very wonderfully written. So creative how you set it up for the last stanza. Such beauty and sadness just like in life. Thank you for this great poem.
