To Meet Our Maker

Without life's pain,
how would we grow?
Without the breaks in our hearts,
how would we know
right from wrong,
truth or lie?
It's only our story
that God will ask for
when we die.
So how do you measure up?
Did you do people wrong?
Did you turn the other cheek?
Are you ready for your story
and all your wrongs brought to light
when its time to ascend
where it's your maker, God, you will meet?
Don't fear the end.
We are all just in that final bend.
The chance is now,
while you still breathe,
to change your destiny.
He already knows all about you.
He is also the only one
we will truly have to answer to.

Excellent one. We would all die the second time if not for His death on the cross. We do not need to fear death. We know He has promised us a better in the next world.
