To Me

What are you, if not a bone of my bones? My missing rib! What are you, if not three beings in one body? -A mother to forgive my follies, - A sister to shelter my sins And a wife to whom my request is a command. What are you, if not an exhale on my lips? That gentle zephyr That sweet music The lullaby I sleep to. What are you, if not a beat of my heart? An elixir of life A drug running in my veins.
