To Love Is To Live
Life is hard and painful
the pains and knocks come daily
friends are quite scarce
and enemies lurk at every turn
but the tide can change
with a simple gesture of peace and good will
we can change all of that
as a matter of fact
to love one is to love all
and together we can watch evil fall
for no one would have the gall
to face us all
and justice would prevail over all injustice
and slice of American pie would be shared by all.
