To Love Is To Die

Words were both sweet and dark in your mouth,
They sounded like music on your tongue.
Your kisses turned into my tears.
I can still hear the rhythm of your breath,
It's like a whisper in the dark.
Someday I'll learn to live without you,
All the memories you left will melt away.
I've got my back to the starry sky,
And the darkness falls.
To love is to die!
