To Live and Love

To Live and Love

Carry me wonderous bird of beauty,
Take me away on your wings of sorrow.
Show me something more that what I can be,
Teach me of wonders that my mind should know.

The time has come to spread my wings and fly,
And too leave all the world's evils behind.
But when I look back I will never cry,
I will think of the wonders I will find.

So save me bird of beauty from this place,
And lift me up to high above the trees.
Now when I gaze uppon the worlds face,
I see the beauty of the land and seas.

And Love, though at times fickle it may seem,
Is a devine force just as pure as gold.
For one day if I wake up from this dream,
If I'm lucky I'll see true love unfold.

The Miricle we know as life is true,
To know that I will wake once more too you.
