To Live Again

To Live Again
by Cate Rock

That night...

It replays over and over through my mind.

My hurt unhidden,

To speak my feelings now forbidden.

Drowning in my own tears.

Shaken by my own fears.

Let down again let down in a poor disgrace.

I faced my biggest fear again,

And I've been let down again.

But its OK...

It wont always be this way...

I'll live again!

...as I've said before...

I'll thrive again

I'll be even better than before.

I'll rise again,

To take my place.

I shall reach for my sky again,

I shall keep my dignity and grace.

I'll face my biggest fear again...

Almost over the edge in love. . .

I'll learn to fly again.

I'll reach up and touch the flying wings of that dove.

I shall thrive again.
