To Immortality
I have never died before.
To this day, I'd never seen the Evermore
And though many years have come to pass,
The life within me still holds fast.
But I know there will come a day
When Death will greet me, and I'll say,
"I have but one question for You:
Is life a lie, or is it true?"
But to do so ere that grand day comes
Only spoils the sweetness of Midsummer's plums.
