To Hell and Back

Well, I Went to Hell
Just like You Said to Do
But it Wasn't like I Thought,
I Didn't Know You'd Be There Too

I Found a Lot of Answers
To Some Questions in My Mind,
Like How Much I'd Put You Through
When Your Heart Had Been All Mine.

All the Little Things I Saw,
That I Didn't Do for You
Slowly Killed Your Love for Me
Now I Can See What You Went Through

I'd like to Pull Us out of That Pit
But Your Love for Me Is Gone
I'd like a Chance to Bring it Back
Even Though I Was So Wrong

I Don't like this Hell I'm in
And the Wrongs I've Done to You..
I See it All So Clearly Now
So Please Tell Me...what Is it I Can Do?

Connie, this one could have come from the same ink bottle that I use. I see much to compare in the way we write. I love your strict adherence to rhyme and rhythm. I will visit your portfolio when I am in need of quality reading....Jake
