To Get Past the Day

When you feel like the day has turned a blind eye upon you
Seek not the shelter of your inner being, but step out
Let not it beat you into submission, but rather smile
Welcome the day and say to it, “I will not be your victim
But rather, I will be victorious today, as the smile on my face
Is the prize that you will never take from me.”
Look then at the faces of everyone else and know that
Happiness is strength and strength was always there
Just needing to be recognized.

Positive thinking is what a person needs but sometimes it is hard to see beyond the moment. We all have those days. Chin up and say a prayer. If we ask we receive. God Bless Phyl
