To Get Her Love I Tried

i love my lovely wife
                                       wanted to relieve her strife
                                            that day was Sunday
                                            that was my holiday
with smile i went to cook
so chicken in kitchen i took
                                          when i stared cut chilli
being crazy doing like a silly
                                       blood oozed from my finger
                                           i decided not to linger
                                        though onions were sliced
                                        yet vegetables to be diced
at that time my wife came
she had given me no fame
                                          my thoughts are dried
                                        so my feelings were fried
then like a baby i cried
to get her love i tried

I love it when my husband cooks for me - he has been an angel with my dad dying and has been cooking to make sure I have been eating well:-) I am careful when cooking with chilli and onions - make sure hands stay well away from my eyes lol !A 7 from me:-) Hugs jan xx
