To Find Redemption

To make it this far,
You've fought failure with fire
To extinguish the fear.
To make it through hell,
You've looked the devil in his face
And managed to escape.
You've begged God
To kill the demon inside
And break the walls
That you hide behind.
To make it out on the other side,
You've seen all walks of life
And crawled out of the darkness
Into the light.
To make it it through the night,
You've went to bed angry
At everything worldly
And wanted nothing more
Than to be alright.
To make it this far,
You've made better choices
Reclaimed your life
And fought for a future
Worth fighting for.
