entangled in a web of your lies
hanging on by this thread
nobody to hear my cries
only silence and darkness instead
you let me believe you weren't ready
and your focus wouldn't be us
like I was just being needy
that I had no reason for mistrust
I felt like I was going mad
and couldn't understand why
but what I needed you already had
yet still convinced me of your lie
you say I'm wrong with my theory
as to when took place this event
rather my birthday you left me teary
and your heart with your mind just went
so you'd have someone return to your heart
that kept you strung out all these years
and reject this love from the start
refusing to face all your fears
you don't get to keep me this time
holding on for what never will be
what you've done to my love is a crime
you could have been happy with me
but you'll never know cuz I'm done
I won't be the fool for you now
and when pain returns from this one
you won't have to understand how
