To Fall In Love

To fall in love, and madly so,
Is there a greater thing than this?
Wars were fought for lesser things—
Might I battle for a kiss?

There is no sword too weighty;
No hill too steep to try;
To fall in love and madly so—
To fall, or standing, die.

I found your writing per your direction from another site. Stand tall and be proud, your poems are lovely and paint great word pictures. I’m glad I found you.

Hi Diane, and of course, thank you! No two people will see this, or any other poem exactly alike, which is fascinating. But however you see it, I’m glad that you did see it. Have a wonderful day, and don’t forget to smell the roses ?? ~ Ken

I can read wonderful poetry like this all day long. So glad to have your poems to read, Kenneth. Love the 'classic' style. Cheers, Gershon

Far too kind my good friend, but highly appreciated! And if you’ll read them all day, I’ll write a few more :-) Ken
