To Eat Or Not To Eat

Instead of eating eachother for the flesh
and bone of the situation,
We're to eat another,
And in consequence be eaten by the Other

Laughing as we escort the former meal to
the triumphant ocean's squeeze
And breath a puff of renewed sincerity

"...We are the new seasons leaves"
