To Dream Again

To take the time to dream awhile
By winding rivers and bushland trails
Lacy ferns line rivers edge
And reeds grow tall to cast a hedge

The sun filled hours of a summers day
Makes me feel so happy and gay
With the smell of the fragrant balmy air
And the cooling breeze blowing through my hair

So take the time to wander down memory lane
When you take time to dream again

Hi Muhammed, thank you so much for going back on all these old poems I have written, we do have a few winding rivers etc. over here especially down south when we are on holidays, we try to make our dreams come true, take care.......Vera

Dear Vera What a soft and delightful write my dearest friend, it flows so smoothly like an undisturbed stream cascading down an mountain side of thought, loved it so much but I've always love your style because it is so honestly written and felt, what a gift to connect with nature, Peter also has this ability, that why I think you to match up so well, you two seem to be at one with nature and life itself, loved it, take care my friend, cheri

How are you and Peter doing, and how are the house repairs coming, our car is working well almost working, the bearing on one side is lose, so the car wobles, so I can't drive over 25 but she gets me to work and back alive, and it's better then walking with my bad knee. Miss you guys alot sincerely I do just been hurting and busy, love both of you two, take care and let me know how you guys are ok, don't be strangers, cheri love you guys!

Dear Vera Hi sis what's up I'm here, had to go back to work my leg is still hurting but not as much, I lose my balance at times, I have to be careful but I'm making it through the days, one at a time, Tom is well but grouchy, I know he is in pain but he's trying his best and that's all I can ask of him, the most I have time for lately is to do postings and then try and get some sleep, i don't even have time to answer comments most nights, I'll be happy when Halloween is over sis, cheri

"So take the time to wander down memory lane When you take time to dream again" I wander down memory lane often my friend. Even on nights when the memories are bad. We must remember the bad to all the more appreciate the good! Great poem!A7

Yes Robert I totally agree, my mind is always wandering, sometime it takes me such a long time to go to sleep as my mind is always wandering, some good and some bad, but it is hard to erase the bad memories but as you say they make you appreciate the good, take care my friend................Vera.

Hi Lindsay, thank you so much for reading this little poem, it reminds me so much of when I was young as I was raised in the bush in a small South west town of WA called Harvey and I must admit it was one of the best times of my life, once again thank you, are you missing Peter?
