To Dance

To Dance the forbidden dance 
to dawn to dusk forever 
to enjoy the wine and smoke 
to rush this way and that 
circling you go 

as others circle        around 
                                      you
emotions     Done                                
of                                          in
  motion      going     ever   this 

Pack up your cloaks 
pack up your shoes 
pack up yourself 
sunset ends it all
you must be true to yourself 
even if only dancing is 
your only release 
take it, use it 
to dance the forbidden dance 
maybe your only hope 
of seeing sunshine
