To Be With You

permeating filling the room
musical waves charged with drama
emotion melancholy desperation
like a cloud that’s murky

billowing rolling notes
endlessly in a waltz
meandering floating like
a scent a perfume
swaying and carrying me off

to that ethereal dimension
where our souls reunite
connect intertwine
and linger between worlds
