To Be Old Where Is the Joy
Although we cannot escape the aging process who of us wants to be old
where you feel fragile and ill and every step you take could be the last before
a break of a bone, or fall down the stairs. Is there any joy in being old, well
some may say to a degree, but the majority say as you and me you will have to wait
and see.
Well I imagine it is a real burden at times for the elderly folk these days as they feel
deserted and cut off from society and the changes they have experienced brings
disturbed, mixed feelings about life. I fully respect the elderly as they deserve it
to get to a grand old age is rare it also shows that there is still some genuine younger ones who do really care for the older ones. As we all either have or have had Grandparents in our life at somepoint, and how lovely it is to sit and listen to them and show love and concern for their welfare.
It surely is something to get to eighty, ninety years or beyond in this day and age as they reach
this stage in their life they may ponder on what they have accomplished and acheieved in them many years, is there something they can leave to family or friends. Memories they cherish before life in their midst may perish.
