To Be Me

I was alone to begin with
And it took me a long time to find you
And then that love to believe
Yet no one I knew is truly real

Even I would like to believe for once
These days...surreal perhaps to only be
An opportunity a never more to chance
Have you an ever these days to be a ‘me’?

With love, with years falling to place
Without a you for me to remain
I have a love I’m to chase
An age older for a younger shame

And thus I began anew
A little harder having have forgotten aging
Those of days for now I threw
Have I a reality really returning....!

A perseverance rather to remain alone
Whence began... are you finding me?
For if you would you simply won’t
Would you a me to simply be?
