To Be Loved

There once was this man,
who thought I'll Love and be Loved if I can.
His dream was to find that one,
who knocked his socks,
that was the plan.
He had searched for that feeling
to fill the empty void within.
Out there in this mixed up world,
was this stone ,
no a Diamond ,a pure gem.
One look in those eyes,
 he was so unbelievably smitten.
He had read all the words of Love,
not a one could explain,
his heart as was written.
To seek that perfect world,
is all any of us can hope to find.
If you find that one ,
hold on tight ,
for life is far to short.

So true and well spoken, let us not take the ones we love for granted but, cherish them and appreciate each breath we take with them. Great work here!
