To Be In Love
First time I laid eyes on you,
my heart fluttered and missed a beat,
for you are the most beautiful girl,
I've had the pleasure to meet.
The way you talk to me
and always listen,
To comfort and soothe me,
and keep me at ease.
You keep me safe,
When things get tough,
You keep my heart beating,
For you are the reason,
I am still alive.
