To Be Forgotten

Lust onto a forbidden one
by a heart already owned
My hope abandoned, I am undone
A desire provoked for the unknown
Though my gentle words in spirit now lead by pain
With a bitter tongue, I will convey
A crimson rage engulfed by grief
Of such disparity my swindled heart speaks
Such infliction forever forced
And what may have been, departed course
Agony such agony has been set upon
Powerful forces bend at the hands of one
My soul lies in two and shattered apart
One, A life conformed makes untrue my heart
Or against the world with my passion intact
Away with my desire... I shall not act!
Etched in my mind in a corner to be forgotten
Lies lust for the forbidden, and my heart forever rotten.

Tis was so deep and dark Elizabeth. The pain and need seem to be the theme, there is a soft glow floating through this. Not sure what that mean except you have a unique talent that expresses your emotions so wonderfully, for one reading it feels they are illuminated even if dark. Really nice.
