To Be Childlike
Somewhere along the way we lose our childlikeness. We must always keep in mind that Jesus said, “[Let] the little children come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such are the kingdom of heaven.” This makes me believe that we must inculcate the quality of childlikeness if we are going to be worthy of entering into the kingdom of God. Children pretend but are not pretentious. Children see life as it really is, not as they wish it could be. Children are happy with what they have, not greedy for more. Children know the meaning of unconditional love without being taught.
Lord, to be childlike
to see You as life’s treasure
always seeking grace
