Thank you so much, Paula. I was jotting down notes for a poem one day, and this popped into my head. It thought it would be perfect for Line's contest.

Even a small hole enough for a ship to wreck. Beautiful. Congratulations!

Well, it pretty much gets to the heart of small slights. Thanks, Bill.

Thanks, Ilene. It's a simple little ditty, but it certain is a bite-size poem!

So true Milton, especially those who have a short fuse and don't listen to reason. Tom

Yep, which is why it is so important to keep tabs on one's emotions.

Sadly, people who carry guns feel the need to justify their purchase with a lethal response to a small slight, especially in traffic! Good one, Milton! Aloha!

Thanks, Rico, and, unfortunately, this is true on many occasions. In traffic, even I tend to flip the bird occasionally in a burst of temper. Poor driving that endangers life is hardly a "small slight."
