To All a Good Night

To all a good night
And the night was good
Without much of a sound
The fat man stood

I think I surprised him
To all a good night
He whispered, “go to sleep”
To this I felt fright

I had heard this voice before,
This I know
To all a good night
Excitement began to grow

I snuck out of bed
Surprised at the sight
It was my dad placing gifts
To all a good night
