As I walk the path of life
Reflections of happy days pass my way
Days when my four legged friend Kedo
Followed in my footsteps night and day
He was but 6 years old when it was his time to die
Weeks of chemo didn’t help, but I had to try.
Yet I still ask the question why oh why,
Is it always things you love that pass on by.
