Tired of the Tears

I’m tired of living in fear.
Tired of drowning in doubt
Tired of shedding these tears
I’m all cried out

Tired endless assumptions
The ridiculous accusations
Tired of verbal assaults
Fed up with your intimidation

Tired of the lack of respect, and the mounting mistrust
I’m tired of the tears
Enough is enough
Tired of being belittled, tired of the hurtful names
Fed up with the heartache I’m tired of the pain

I’m tired of being alone; I’m tired of being neglected
Tired of reaching out to you and still being rejected
Tired of the constant abuse, the shoves and the shouts
I’m tired of the tears
I am all cried out

Tell me it's not true. My vicarious love life lives through you and your poems. This is disaster. I thought all was swell. So, then, find someone new. I depend on you.
