Tired and Lonely
The old man wants to die,
They try to make him eat but he won’t try.
It won’t do any good, it’s too late he said,
Just let me die alone in my bed.
Once strong, full of life, a lot to give,
Now frail and ill, not long to live.
He’s come full circle, now is the time to depart,
Sometimes ills are cured, but not always broken hearts.
