Tired

I'm tired of being your cushion
The one you always run to,
I'm not stupid; I know you don't really care
Yet I accept what you claim to be "true."

I'm tired of playing it off
Acting like it's no big deal,
You say one thing, then do another
Does my confusion give you a thrill?

I'm tired of feeling unwanted
When there's never a good reason why,
But when it's over, I deal with the pain left behind
It takes everything I have not to cry.

I'm tired of being pushed around
The one to always forgive,
If you wanna leave me, leave me; wanna love me, love me
But I've got my own life to live.

I'm tired of finishing last place
Forget competition, I'm through,
I did everything I could have done
I was always there for you.

I'm tired of being forgotten
The girl that no one wants to hold,
There's nothing more I can do in life
Except sit and watch it unfold.
