Tiny Thought

T I N Y T H O U G H T

I wonder if
over the cliff
was it hard
reviling the card

it never was
usually does
look my way
make it go away

don't want to do
hurt you
reasons gone
we don't belong

I better run
stick around for fun
open mind
color blind

our time
is now doing the crime
should I
or shouldn't I

stick around
you won't frown
play my tricks
love can't be fix

perfect never
maybe clever
hear me out
leave you in doubt

my soul will not comply
holding back the tears
today passes 6 years

handled what I got
something that was not
giving my best shot
to a tiny thought

seeing this one again and thinking maybe you could narrow it to five stanzas and use it in that one quatrain contest. she did want short lines! PD, is it just me? I have noticed lately that I am writing many comments but getting only half the replies I used to get. It's so discouraging. i feel like I am working my ass off with comments and my poems just sit there as if not being read! I am getting plenty of congrats comments, but I am wishing more people would read my new poetry. It's insane!

Here is another one I have responded to, even way back here. But I wanted to tell you hello, it's so fun to see you here today. About that collaboration I just commented on. Your part was SO much better, but I didn't say that underneath that poem.Let me know if you can think of any poems of yours I have not seen. Gotta move fast and see other comments before the hubbie gets home from having the truck fixed. Yes, Soup was BAD these past few days. It was actually good. I could take a breather. ha!

Your tiny thought is amazingly wonderful, making us realize how sometimes even a tiny thought can be so grave & pinching. Excellent write my friend. Thanks for valued comments on 'I am sad today'. I feel that you are going through sadness, when we want our feelings to be shared. If you need to share any of your feelings you can write to me either through soup mail or on my direct mail. Just be strong as you are in your Poetry & everything would be fine. Love and best wishes.. Ravindra...Poet D

This is just what happens when one dwells on a tiny thought...great writing and good rhythm to their words. Just wonderful, as it gave me some "tiny thoughts" to think about. Regards, Dan C

Back to this poem with no new one to see. (do a Pablo Neruda for us!) P.D. I researched him before doing that poem. I could not do it simply from seeing a picture. I think when I took spanish Lit eons ago, I probably read a bit of his work. He is acclaimed as South America's best, so I think he is a poet worthy to be studied by us! Thanks for reading my poem today. LUv, Andrea
