Tina, I saw you perform in Oakland, CA,yes, long ago. But God has chosen to bring you to His eternal home today. You, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis and the News were all part of a magical, music show. I feel, in heaven the Angels will shout a welcoming hooray! How beyond grateful, I was to see you sing, dance and play. My daughter had to stop me from dancing in the aisles. I just was so moved, I jumped up to dance, all smiles Your son left this planet in the year 2018~ how you cried! Not tonight, you can swing on silver stars, side by side. ********************** In memory of Tina Turner ….1940-2023. 5/24/2023

...tina's open honest self-presentation always stunned me....from early on her style was that of a genuinely civilized human being whose stage appearances were like opportunities to teach audiences a wisdom......loved her.......stan

Hi Stan! Golly, so glad to see you again! I hope things are going well for you ! Your comment is astonishingly awesome. In life, I am blown away by people who are direct and whole, I loathe phonies. Tina was not that. It’s a joy to be with people who are not fakes, They are inspirational. Tia left her mark on us all Pangie

Oh, I know your write about her..is phenomenal! After all, she was an international Star. I was telling Ayana, I saw her at 45. She was sexy but not in a sleazy way. I would love to relive that night, because of her and the other musicians present. I loved her wild hair))and killer legs. Phenomenal voice. Pangie xx

Tina Turner was raw, powerful, and unstoppable. Unapologetically herself—speaking and singing her truth through joy and pain; triumph and tragedy. The Queen of Rock and Roll. She made a comeback at 40, and with her famous “What’s Love Got To Do With It” Top Hit. My favorite was her version of CCR’s “Proud Mary” a tiny 5`4 and yet they called her an Amazon! Fabulous tribute, Pangie!

I wish I would have seen her in concert! Ike had over 19 lawyers, she met him at 16, they married in TJ, she suffering the consequence's. Her biography a must read.

She was beautifully herself. Loved her wild hair and powerful voice and songs. The New York Post has tons of stuff about her today! I liked What’s Love Have to Do With It? Didn’t she sing Proud Mary with Mick Jagger in concert!? I saw her when she was 45! Awesome. And now? She is eternal.quite a human star we had. Winners triumph over tragedy. Losers like hurting and destroying the hearts of others. They are pure pretense and don’t really know who they are! You know the difference.)) Love, Pangie

Heart touching all the current losses. Before it was just “the old ones.” Today seems to be closing in on all the iconic stars. Her story was horrific and touching. She came back with a fervor, owned by no one. Be blessed, Pangie!

Hi, Kim. Many young ones OD’s. Drugs are a big whoop in Hollywood for decades. Joplin, Hendrix to name a few. Tina’s husband is handsome, she-lived well! Not all women leave violent husbands, meaning IKE. You know she was living in Europe and renounced her USA citizenship! Was a true gift to see her and the rest that magical night.Tina sang with Jagger too.Pangie Glad you appreciated Tina: thanks

Tina certainly did have quite a 'rip' up the side of her skirts. Tee-hee... Ike gave up on 'soul music' a long time ago, myself. ~ O Rio Kookie

Well G, She had beautiful legs and a soul and boundless energy. She did remarry and has lived in Euruope for the past thirty years performed. With Mick jagger . Is Ike playing at the at the Met? And what’s wrong with her voice? Soul music is its own here, music is its own genre, certainly, not Lawrence Welk))))).Ike went down the pike. Many here too young to know her. Thanks, Pangie

That combination of Tina, Huey Lewis and Hall and Oates is one of best nights in all my life on earth. N Ess her for all the happy times she brought to us with her talents. She’s a forever star, now. She sang and we clapped and said, wow. What a lovely woman gif took home! Pangie

Pangie, this is wonderful memorial tribute to the fabulous Tina Turner who was ‘simply the best’ - Tina, queen of the rock n’ roll scene will be sorely missed. I never saw Tina live but went to the musical about her life story, the bad times as well as the good times, it was a fantastic show. Tina will live on forever in our hearts, may Tina and son always swing on those silver stars… Belle

How great, Belle, you went to the musical about her life! She said if you can’t do much in a day, at least be kind to someone. To me, that’s a simple but proud truth in this zany world, where it’s all about me. me, me. Famous~good performers live on in our hearts long after their demise. I tried to add some warmth and and hope. Image coming later. Apologies, Pangie

Hi Panagiota, You penned a good poem in memory of the “ Queen of Rock And Roll.” I never had a chance to see her live in concert. But I am a fan of her music and who she was as a person. I loved see to her sing and perform on TV. She was a fantastic entertainer. She had style and grace. Excellent job:-) Alexis

Alexis, Good Heavens … I had no idea what to write, oh, I wish you could have seen her…this woman was electric! I will add an image later. I have several.. I was just reading an article by her.Performing for others is a blessing. Glad she lived this long. Just think of how sad her fans are but lots of videos on You Tube for us..who liked her. I am glad she is with her lost son. ,,I thought a good way to end the poem with that thought. She had her own special way. Thank you for visiting… I’m memory of Tina, adieu! Panagiota
